App only in Finnish!
In the app, you’ll find the Buses on Map feature, route search, mobile tickets, mobile travel cards, traffic announcements, and local news. A new feature is the Family Profile, which allows, for example, a guardian to purchase tickets directly for a child’s app.
Payment methods in the app include MobilePay, online banking, Siirto, and bank transfers.


App Usage Rules and Instructions
- Single mobile tickets for city transport are valid for 1 hour from activation.
- Multi-ride and season tickets are valid according to the product terms. Validity starts from the first validation on the bus.
- City transport mobile tickets are valid only on routes: 1, 1L, 2AP, 2IP, 3, 4, 4L, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8L, 10, 11, 13, 13K.
- The ticket must be active before boarding the bus and remain active for the entire journey.
- A screenshot of the ticket is NOT accepted as a payment method. QR codes on mobile travel cards change regularly. The validity time on a single mobile ticket must be visible when the driver checks it.
- You must have a ticket for the correct age group and user category:Children: 7–17 years
- Adults: 18+ years
- Seniors: 65+ years
- Students
- Children under 7 travel free when accompanied by a paying adult.
- The driver has the right to charge an additional fee for incorrectly purchased or misused mobile tickets. Misused tickets will be invalidated.
- Students authenticate via Oma Opintopolku by following the app’s instructions.
- Register users in the Family Profile settings. The guardian must first create an account and then add other necessary accounts through the Family Profile. Currently, Family Profile accounts can only be linked to one guardian account.
- Create the Family Profile according to the above instructions before purchasing a ticket for someone else.
